Chancellor Martok of the Klingon Empire has asked the Federation to send in a starship to help make peace with Lord Korax. The Klingons are not diplomatic enough to resolve this situation on their own, and the Federation refuses to send most of their ships, for if they did, they'd most likely be destroyed becuase they weren't powerful enough. No, the Federation sends one of its most powerful starships to mediate the Klingon dispute, the Federation sends the Samurai.

Captain Nelson and the crew of Triton Seabase begin their transfer to the starship Samurai, and receive their orders straight from the Federation Council. They are to enter Klingon Space and begin 'aggressive' negotiations with a sect of Klingons bent on defying the Empire. Can they survive against such passion, strength, and power?
