Hello, everyone. I just wanted to officially introduce myself OOC to you all since I hope to be simming with each and every one of you during my tenure here. My name is Patrik and I, as you may or may not already know, portray Eric Jericho the Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer.

I love meeting new people and am always willing to do a JP if asked, I will very rarely turn anyone down and if I do, I usually have a very good reason. So if you would ever like to sim with Eric, just send me a PM and we can get one rolling.

I have a decent amount of RP experience and have one been on a Star Trek sim on two different ocassions. The first was two maybe three years ago and I can't even remember anything about it. The most recent was, as some of you may have already put together, was at the beginning of the year as 2LT Stone. I apologize for my sudden disappearance, but my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer at that time and it was a very hectic time for the entire family and I couldn't get back into simming.

Since then, he has pulled through and is doing quite well and I have finally managed to sit back down and get time to myself. Just so you know, I don't just disappear like that without prior notice so it will not happen again.

Anyway, I just felt the need to let you all know who I am and that I am here and willing to sim with all of you. LET'S HAVE FUN! That's why we are all here for anyway, right? :)

Hiya everyone!

I hope all your summers are starting off really nicely. Vacations, relaxations, cocktails, galore, lol. Oh, I have a good recipe for an Orientini if anyone wants to see. I really appreciate how some crewmembers have been making their own news items letting everyone else know what's going on in their lives and keeping us all in the loop on things. I think it adds a strong OOC element to the sim that strengthens our closeness. I want to encourage everyone to use the news item system to make such announcements in the future. xD

Now then, I'd like to welcome our newest arrival to the sim. He's got a strong background in roleplaying and promises to show us what he's got. Please join me in welcoming Ensign Scott Steiner, Assistant Chief Intelligence Officer. There is green tea and sushi in the backroom. :P

Next up, our mission Slice of Paradise is now completed! It took us around 9 and a half months to complete, and everyone did such a wonderful job all throughout it. I've updated the Mission Summary for it, so if you want the official Synopsis, please look for it there. Congratulations to everyone!! :D

Keep an eye out for an OOC message on the mailing list regarding our next mission. All I will say right now is that it's Shoreleave. Also, our Post Count currently stands at 31, which is great, and we will need a few more to make minimums; I have every confidence that together, we'll be able to achieve and surpass this goal in no time. ;)

And that's about it for now. Boy, this summer heat is starting to get to me already. Can you imagine a sweaty geek at the computer? I certainly don't want to, and so I'm not going to offer any further imagination, lol. Take care everyone and see you all next month! :)
